Guest Review: Motor Bunny BUCK by @Phoenyx_Fall

Hello, I’m Phoenyx Fall, a transfeminine webcam model and entertainer, and this is a review of the Motorbunny Buck ride-on sex machine. I was not paid for this review, nor was my purchase discounted in any way. The following opinions are entirely my own, and I am not affiliated with any of the companies mentioned below. Now that I’m done with that obligatory disclaimer, let’s get into the fun stuff.

The Internet of Dongs
It’s time to talk about toys. As you might expect, I’m not referring to tiny collectible cars or building blocks, but to the many unique and often exotic accessories used to add variety and excitement to the bedroom and beyond. Sex and intimacy are normal, healthy and often essential parts of adult life, and toys can greatly enhance that experience.
One of the most remarkable advancements in sex toy tech in recent years has been long-distance wireless connectivity, often referred to as “teledildonics” (much to the amusement of nearly everyone who first hears the term.) Despite the name, however, it has been revolutionary in improving long distance intimacy, especially in the age of lockdowns and cancellations. For couples and cam models alike, they are fantastic ways to connect without touch, giving and receiving exciting sensations from one side of the world to another, and creating a more fulfilling experience for all involved.
Naturally, my own activities as an adult entertainer and webcam model led me to take an interest in these new toys, with my first foray into sex tech being a simple Bluetooth enabled plug. While it was limited in what it could do, often losing connection with the USB-mounted antenna that allowed it to connect to the internet, it was a fun peek into the world of connected sex toys, and I soon found myself wanting more. Eventually, I ended up purchasing the monster machine I’ll be reviewing today. But before digging into the hows, whys, and all the ups and downs of getting the Net involved with your nethers, a little explanation about ride-on toys is in order for the uninitiated.

Putting the “RRRRRRR” in Rodeo

If you’ve been around the steamier parts of the internet for very long, you have most likely seen the large, saddle-shaped vibrators that go by their brand name, Sybian. These powerful vibes have been featured in many adult films, their signature roaring buzz often muffled beneath the ecstatic screams of their riders. They are famed for their raw power and relentless ability to wear their users out through the sheer sensation of being pushed over the edge again and again by the intense vibrations. The machines have a well-deserved reputation for being some of the strongest toys on the market, and it is precisely this reputation that inspired their competitor, Motorbunny.
It would seem that they succeeded in matching this goal, as their base model is nearly indistinguishable from the Sybian save for a prominent logo on the front casing, proudly displaying the pink rabbit ears the company chose as their trademark. In addition, it sports four steel eye bolts at the corners for attaching cuffs, should you be feeling adventurous. Inside, it boasts a slightly more powerful electric motor, weighing in at .08 horsepower against the Sybian’s .0059. Both the Sybian and Motorbunny feature two-channel controls, with one knob controlling the vibration and the other rotating the attached dildo or plug. Both come with a steep price tag as well, though the Motorbunny has a clear advantage there, at $900 to the Sybian’s $1350. However, neither of these were my final choice. Instead, I opted for Motorbunny’s newest model, the appropriately named Buck.

A Real Stud for Your Stable
While the reference behind its name is obvious, this stallion is far from a thoroughbred. Rather, it is a hybrid between a vibrating ride-on toy and a traditional piston-action fucking machine. Instead of the twirling action featured by both the Sybian and base model Motorbunny, its second knob causes its attachments to thrust up and down or tilt forward and back, depending on which of the machine’s interchangeable toggles are installed. The Buck comes standard with three silicone attachments. Two are dildos, one smaller with a curved tip for g-spot or prostate stimulation, and one slightly larger, with a gently swirled texture. The third attachment is simply a raised bump, designed to transfer the machine’s vibrations for a gentler, non-penetrative experience. All are made from 100% silicone and are body safe.

The top casing of the machine is covered in thick synthetic leather, which easily wipes clean after use. It makes for a very comfortable ride, and the machine is rated for two riders and 1000 pounds combined weight so if your partner is feeling frisky there is little danger of damaging the Buck. Of course, it only mounts one attachment at a time but it takes very little imagination to think of other ways a shared ride could be quite the stimulating experience.

As with the base model Motorbunny, the Buck features four eye bolts at the corners, for those wishing for someone else to take the reins during their ride. Cuffs are not included with the machine and must be purchased separately, however. If you already have some of your own, it’s easy to simply clip a carabiner or quick release through them and secure it to the bolts.

From Store to Stable

I bought my Buck in mid 2021. It carries a considerable price tag at  $1550, or $1650 to get an additional adapter to accept the VacULock system, with two such dildos included. The adapter itself is simply a barbed plastic stem that pushes into a hole at the base of the toys, with the aid of a little cornstarch to cut the friction. In my opinion the extra $100 is well worth the potential for variety this little attachment adds, especially when the two included toys are factored into the price. Regardless of the options package, the Buck comes with the usual three attachments, and a large thermoplastic wedge that can be used to stand the machine on end for a variety of positions during use. More on that later!

Shipping was fast, if a little odd. Since I had opted for the add-on package, I was sent two separate shipments, which technically ended up being three. The attachments were the first to arrive, with the machine itself coming two days later. The third package was incredibly late, but since all that was in it was a canister of Doc Johnson’s VacULock powder, I didn’t mind. In fact, I had been unaware that the powder was included and simply used regular cornstarch (which is all that the overpriced DJ powder is.) Everything arrived neatly packaged and well cared for. I recorded the unboxing, and a link to it is available at the end of this article.

My First Rodeo

As you might expect, I was very eager to fire up the Buck and see what it could do. After screwing in one of the included toggles and slipping an attachment onto the shaft, I picked up the controller and gave the “Buck” knob a gentle twist. The thrusting motion slowly, smoothly scaled up to an appreciable speed, and the machine was surprisingly quiet, just a steady thumping whirr coming from within the casing. It was when I turned the “Buzz” knob that I ran into my first problem.
The vibration is far from subtle. It isn’t loud, exactly, but it resonates through anything it contacts, transmitting a deep hum that is more felt than heard. I live in an apartment, and this was an instant issue. I quickly switched off the machine and retreated to the sacred archives of the Internet to plan my next move and hopefully end up with a solution that would allow me to use my expensive investment without noise complaints.

By “sacred archives,” I mean Fetlife. Within a day or so of posting about my plight I had several replies suggesting different varieties of industrial noise dampeners. After looking into what was available I settled on two separate solutions, and $90 later I was waiting for a set of foam compressor feet and two thick rubber mats from Amazon. Settling the machine on top of all of this proved to be fairly successful in reducing the noise, even more so if I did it atop the bed. I still have yet to rev it to its full capacity, but that is due more to it being more than powerful enough for my needs than because of any noise concerns.

For someone living alone or with tolerant neighbors or roommates, this would be much less of an issue, but it’s something to be aware of nonetheless.
Once I’d solved this problem, it was finally time for my first ride. Now, as an AMAB trans person, I can only speak to my experiences with this toy, but it is amazing to say the least. It takes practically no time or effort to achieve a mind-blowing orgasm, or two, or three. It’s easy to get the perfect speed, depth and angle to hit the ideal spot with perfect accuracy, and it is relentless in the best sense of the word. The attachments are excellent quality, and the silicone glides just right. With the expansion kit, I always have the perfect toy for whatever I want out of a given play session.

Recently, I have greatly enjoyed the 90-degree stand. It’s great for simply lying back and letting the machine do its work, pounding away while I read or scroll through my phone. It’s incredibly hot to feel it just going at it, and it has enough power to visibly push me up and down on the mattress, and with the right extension I can even see it move inside me! It is the perfect compromise between a traditional fucking machine and a saddle-type ride on machine.
Now, for what makes the Buck really shine, the LINK controller. This neat little add-on, included with the Buck, allows it to be controlled via smartphone. With it, the machine can use a variety of patterns for both of its functions, respond to music or voice (including the sounds in the room if you so choose) or even a couple of mobile games developed by Motorbunny Inc themselves. There is also a function that generates a one-time link so you can give control to someone anywhere, right in their browser. Before the session, you can set a maximum power ceiling that the machine will never exceed, so you never need to worry about going too hard. This connectivity makes the Buck an excellent choice for long distance relationships or just plain online fun. It can be a wonderful way to safely enjoy the feeling of sex with none of the risks.

For those interested in the machine for cam work, it is integrated with Chaturbate and works with the site with a simple extension.

In summary, while the price tag is quite high, it’s still not unreasonable for a fucking machine, and the quality for the money is amazing. The only real flaws I have found are the noise, and that the thrust depth can be a little shallow. Due to the constraints of a saddle type toy, however, these shortfalls are pretty reasonable and more or less inevitable. All things considered, the Buck is an absolute powerhouse of a toy and I have no regrets at all about my purchase.
