Creator Spotlight: Miss Nia

G’day my lovely deviants, and welcome again to our Creator Spotlight series. Miss the last entry? You can read it here. Out in my travels I happened to meet Miss Nia, an all-powerful succubus and entertainer. I thought I’d ask her a few questions, and present the following for your reading pleasure. By the way, you totally should go follow her. And give her your money.  Enjoy.

You’re actually the first NSFW VA I’ve interviewed, isn’t that nice? That also means I need to ask a few standard questions: What actually got you started in the field? What attracted you towards being a NSFW content producer? Why your particular style of content, and how has that changed since you started?

I find that so super surprising! Thank you so much for having me on as the first one, I’ll try my best not to screw this completely up then. First, how about a little story… it’s what I do best after all.

Once upon a time, there was a young succubus that needed money, and needed money fast, being both broke and horny in college was pretty normal for that time period. She opened up a game called Second Life, and in that game she worked as a virtual stripper. Voice chatting was ‘new’ at the time, and this freshly born succubus wasted no time to jump onto the trend. She made enough money to survive, and  had a whole lot of fun doing it. Little did that succubus know at the time that what she was doing was also considered phone sex, something she realized much later.  Over time and experience, she has transformed into the lovely culinary succubus you know and love.

TLDR: I started taking private calls in Second Life which was my first introduction to Adult work and creating NSFW content. I left for a while due to life circumstances, and after browsing Twitter one day I found out that there were people called NSFW VA’s and with my previous experience, I knew this was something I wanted to try.

I love being creative in all the content I make, from my audio roleplays to my live shows. I learned a lot from RPing on those old SL servers, and the shows we’d put on in the world. I still enjoy Erotic RP because of those golden days.

I am a lover of stories, and have even written and published my own erotica. I love adventure, I love exploring new worlds and scenarios. That’s why I’ll always create audio roleplay fantasies. I love creating Femdom content, from the most gentle Dommy Mommy to the most humiliating Menacing Mistress. *sighs* I just love femdom.. And facesitting, I really, REALLY, love facesitting. As far as what has changed, every now and then I run into a person who brings me a commission on a kink/fetish that I am not familiar with. I love chatting with them and learning what the triggers are for them and all the whys. I’m a very curious creature. I use all the knowledge I create to make interesting role plays that satisfy different tastes.

I noticed that you and I actually share a trait-we’re both people that wear a lot of professional hats across multiple platforms. In my case, it’s to ensure redundant sources of revenue-it’s also just super fun. Is there a particular style of content you never expected to take off like it has?

I noticed that about you too! I think we can both agree that it is super fun. It’s a lot of work though! I love streaming, gaming, and creating and being ‘Miss Nia’ so to speak, so I’m always looking for ways I can express myself creatively online. I think the Bakery of Debauchery Live Shows was a project that I had no idea would take off or not. I was really really pleased to see the turnout of the shows that were put on and hope to bring them back again soon.

Speaking of which, over the last few months we’ve seen a very pronounced puritanical effort across multiple platforms to sanitize, contain or pivot away from adult content. The most recent being the update to twitter’s terms of service. Before that, it was the rumor Onlyfans was going “legit”, a distasteful way to say “getting rid of sex workers”. Over the last few years, this has become a growing concern not just for our community, but users of all spectrums. What, in your personal or professional opinion, should the NSFW community be on the lookout for from platforms, and is there anything we individually or collectively can do?

The tale of platforms built on the back of sex workers only to later get rid of them is one that has happened quite a bit. As a creator of adult content, it is difficult to grow your business on a platform, knowing that any day you can get banned and lose everything in an instant.

That’s why it is so important, as an individual, to have a presence on multiple platforms, and even hosting your own website. Always have multiple ways for people to find you because you never know when these companies will change the rules. Always be knowledgeable on the terms and conditions on sites where you want to post your work. Checking those before you start will save you the grief of amassing a following that you’ll wind up losing later for TOS breaks.

Collectively, whether you are a sex worker personally or if you enjoy the content made by a sex worker, we need to make sure our voices are heard in our local governments. We need to push for laws that actually protect sex workers, and not allow them to be manipluated or censored with loopholes.

Similarly, do you personally ever think there will come a time or circumstance in which you exit the NSFW content community? Personally speaking, I’ve been vocal about having a “thirty minute ghosting plan”, which I think is important for every creative person. Likewise, should the push towards “sanitizing” platforms continue, I’ve already begun planning for “life after porn”. The adult content field is vast and while many of us can continue well into our golden years, I don’t think it’s uncommon to consider.

Honestly, I haven’t thought about my exit plan from NSFW content creation yet. I still feel like I am in the ‘beginning’ of my ‘career’ so to speak. So, as long as I can use my voice to create content I will continue to do so. I also write erotica, so if I were in a position that I couldn’t make audios anymore I’d probably go back to full time writing. Adult work has been a big influence in my life since I was younger so I really can’t see life without doing something related. Though, the only exit I think I would do from Adult work would be if my streaming career takes off.

Okay, back to the fun stuff. What was the best project you’ve ever worked on, and the worst? What was the hardest sound effect or edit to pull off? You’re more than welcome to link anything here you’d like.

There are so many and all the artists I have been able to work with do amazing work! If I had to choose which project I was most excited about, it would have to be starring in AgentRedGirl’s Amy’s Big Wish as Tara.  As far as my personal projects, I really love when I can collab with other performers for my Live Shows. Ooh hardest sound effects!? The proper dick rubbing sound I find hard with right wet sloppy, slimy, perfection that is sex noise. I can never record one myself that I am in love with, at least not yet. Haha!

Here is the link to my Gumroad, there are several recordings of my Live Shows posted there. The previews are just a glimpse at the creativity we put into the shows!

You’ve amassed a major following, and it’s well earned. For many people just starting out in voice work or NSFW content production, climbing that hill can seem incredibly daunting. Everyone seems to have their own unique way of attracting attention-do you have any advice for fledgling creatives out there on how to do that?

Awww! First, shout out to all my super amazing Naughtykins that follow and support my work across my platforms and are dedicated followers of your favorite culinary succubus.

Honestly, I think it’s very important to keep YOUR voice. It can be daunting looking at others and how they’ve amassed their followings and be tempted to copy what you see. While it is okay to be inspired by other creators, always be sure to be true to YOUR voice, how you are, and how you say things. Be Genuine! While it is okay to be a different persona in this line of work, try to be true to yourself so that you don’t lose yourself either. Be Creative! Even if you’ve never seen someone do the idea you have in your mind, DO IT! Try to conquer that fear of failing, usually those are the best ideas! And lastly, always be learning! You can never know everything, always be learning and sharpening your craft and your mind.

Okay, we’re almost done. Got any upcoming projects you’d love to tease?

I’ve always got projects going on, but right now I am most excited to start uploading onto my Youtube Channel and Pornhub channel for SFW/NSFW roleplays. If you’d like to listen when those are posted you can here.
