Jack’s Sack: Tenga Standard Rolling Head
Good day folks, and welcome back to Jack’s Sack. Did you miss our previous entry? You can read it here. Today, I’m going to be discussing the Tenga Standard Rolling Head Cup.
Brands, Quality, and You
Like a lot of people, I tend to associate product lines and names with a standard. I buy Leatherman multi-tools because they’re flawless. I avoid Lenovo laptops because Windows 10 hates their more modern chipsets. But sex toys are kind of a blind area for me. Most of the time, I simply use my hand. It’s convenient, it’s always there, and I can change sensations on the fly simply by thinking. For a weird knobby fleshy thing, it’s pretty advanced.
That changed when I started this series. To be totally honest, I hadn’t given sex toys and branding much of a thought. I knew of Tenga, Bad Dragon and other toy makers simply because of their massive exposure into other sides of kink. You would be hard pressed not to have heard or seen a BD toy, or the familiar cup shape of a tenga. When I first had an inkling this series could even “be a thing”I decided on Tenga products. The reason was really simple: I knew them. They weren’t produced by no-name companies with (likely) shoddy quality control. They were also in a price range where I’d not feel IMMENSE AND PROFOUND GUILT if someone bought me one.
Seriously y’all, I’m flattered you wanna buy me a Bad Dragon toy, but I just can’t.
I’m really pleased to say I’ve enjoyed every single one so far. And before we delve too deep, I enjoyed this one as well. However, I think it also serves as a great reminder why reading reviews on toys is so important. Everyone’s body type is slightly different, which changes our enjoyment of products regardless of quality control or branding. What works for you might not work for someone else, and vice versa. Keep that in mind as you read.
Flexible Fucking
The Rolling Head is a part of the disposable cup series from Tenga. Like others, it’s sold at a very reasonable price point ($13.82 as of this writing). It also comes pre-lubed, and vacuum sealed at both ends. You can remove the sticker at the top, which adjusts the air pressure within. Doing so can tighten it, or adjust the depth of the toy on the fly. It was something I neglected to do with the Deep Throat, and I’m curious now how that would have affected my experience with it. Literally all you have to do is cover or uncover it with your finger.
Unlike the Deep Throat, it features a flexible, stretchy base that looks kinda like an accordian. But an accordian you fuck instead of terrorize people with. I mean, maybe you could terrorize them with a tenga. I’d be willing to bet several of you are into that. This allows you to adjust both the angle and depth without having to move your cock around. Wanna pretend your partner is standing up? Simply pull the end of the toy towards you. Want to get your swirl on? That’s possible too. The toy, in theory, works well.
Practice was slightly different. Like the Deep throat, this model features a very tight entrance. However, it’s much more forgiving once you’re inside thanks to it’s flexible nature. It’s “snug” without being soul sucking, which means you can play for a lot longer. Once I was inside, I started with gentle tugs. It slide along my girth quite well, though I noticed it had slightly less lube than the Deep Throat. This was easily fixed by adding more. After doing so, I decided it was time to test the Rolling Head’s main feature.
I shoved my cock all the way in, and the toy gave a queef that made me laugh. Once I hit the back, I gripped the end of the toy and started to roll. That’s when my only displeasing issue with it arose. Flesh can be forgiving-plastic is not. While I was able to swirl the toy on my cock well enough, it was readily apparent I’d hit a wall. A plastic wall that the head of my cock rammed right against. It didn’t hurt, but it was discomforting enough that I didn’t deeply buck into the toy until I was ready to cum.
However, the actual flexible action of the toy was great. It felt closer to a real partner’s walls convulsing against my bucking. Regardless of which way I bent the toy, it gave easily. Wanna pretend you’re fucking someone on their side, doggy style or right against your waist? All possible with this toy.
It’s worth mentioning that this feature isn’t unique to this design, however. For a bit more, any of tenga’s 3D lines (which I reviewed here) can do this as well. There’s also the tenga eggs (reviewed here). Both of these products are much more pliable and forgiving of body types. In the case of the eggs, they’re also priced within the same range. While the eggs aren’t advertised as reusable, they can easily be made as such. The “Cup” line remains a mystery in re-use to me.
To be totally honest, I didn’t necessarily want to fuck this again. It’s not that it’s a bad product-it’s that Tenga simply offers alternatives which fit my body and needs better. While the pliable structure was enjoyable, it had me missing the “succubus-tight” feel of the Deep Throat. And they’re even in the same product line.
Hitting my head at the back of the thing was enough for me to cap it when I was done.
Putting A Lid On It
In the end, I really enjoyed having a refreshing orgasm on my lunch break. I’m thankful I had such a pleasant toy to spend the afternoon. But in the end, the rolling cup lived up to its namesake. “Standard” in form, function and practice. I don’t regret fucking it at all, and I feel it served a really educational purpose. So-read customer reviews before you purchase. All sex toys can be fun, but your needs might vary.
