SplatNews: Private Requests, Patreon, And More

If you follow me on twitter, you may have noticed that I am now taking private audio requests. These differe from public audio requests very little.
A) Private audio requests aren’t free. They’re for pay (two ko-fis). Ko-Fi takes thirty-nine cent per tip, which brings the total charge of private requests to $5.53. This is for five-to-ten minutes of audio recorded exclusively for an audience of one, usually with a same-day turnaround (pending sickness, real work, mental health days and exhaustion).
I want to talk about the fact this is paid work for just a moment:
I have said from day one that Splat House will not, nor will it ever be, behind a paywall. I maintain that promise, and have done so the entire time the blog has been around. All content you read or listen to here is, and always will be, absolutely free. With both a patreon and a flux of Ko-Fi tips, Splathouse is completely self-sustaining well within the start of the year. I’m not yet at the point I can pay contributors the rates I want to, but we’re still doing amazingly well for what our site is. I thought porn without a paywall was a pipe dream, but here we are.
What private requests are, therefore, is an additional revenue stream for the site-and a possible way for me to leave my day job. Maybe, possibly. I’ve stated from day one that I wish this site was my real job.
If it tells you the earning potential with private requests, I have already cleared what I am currently breaking on patreon monthly within two days. While this is nowhere near a living wage, I have opted to keep prices low both as a means of being competitive in a niche market and allowing everyone a chance at getting a private audio.
If you’re still holding on to that $5.53 and waiting for the incentive on private audios, they’re this:
Exclusivity/Speed
Much looser request rules (no “forced” or racist stuff, no scat/urine/diaper play)
Intimacy (I’ll say your name, go by someone elses if you prefer, and can skip all the “sales pitch” stuff I do at the start of all my recordings)
Lewdness (private audios can be much, much dirtier than regular audios)
Direct Download (if desired)
Scalable (each ko-fi buys you 5 more minutes)
As with all I do, I am absolutely open to any and all possible suggestions on how to make this a more pleasurable experience for you. So if there’s something you would like to see me accomplish in a private request, just ask. I am flexible when it comes to paid work, and I’m willing to work with you.
B) Yes, I am still doing stroking at the keys.
Stroking at The Keys and private audio requests will forever be handled seperately. While I can (and will) orgasm for you in a private request, the focus will be on helping you (the listener) orgasm first. Stroking at the Keys will remain a public performance that is centered on my orgasm to the prompt, and has an adjustable rate (literally any amount you desire to tip on Ko-Fi). Stroking At the Keys also follows my “public” content rules, which you can view here. Private audio follows only the rules listed above. Revenue earned from Stroking at the Keys will always go to the blog. Revenue from private requests will be used at my discretion. That means it could be used for the blog, to buy my lunch, etc. If you would prefer it to go to the blog, you need only stipulate.
I will be adjusting the patreon today so that those on our “Read to Us, Splat!” tier and our “Audio Lovers” will be eligible for one private audio a month, on top of all their other benefits.
